Bringing History to the Streets
HBF’s historic plaque program was created to recognize Beaufort’s significant buildings and history.
Since its inception, more than 50 plaques have been installed throughout Beaufort’s Historic Landmark District.
Historic structures that are 50 years or older and contribute to Beaufort’s historic and architectural character are eligible for consideration.
